This guidance note is applicable for BREEAM, CEEQUAL and HQM schemes used in the UK which opened for registrations from 2018 onwards. The relevance of this document to a project undergoing an assessment under any of these schemes is dependent on the version of the scheme being used.

This, together with the development work and new metrics behind the planned upgrade of CEEQUAL (Version 6), will inform a next generation single scheme that BRE plans to launch in 2017.

By bringing together CEEQUAL with BRE’s BREEAM scheme, the plan is that this standard and certification tool will fulfill this desire and be able to serve civil engineering and infrastructure projects in the UK and globally. The Institution of Civil Engineers has shown its support for the move, which sees CEEQUAL transfer its business operations to BRE Global. At the end of last year BRE announced the acquisition of CEEQUAL into its BREEAM family of international sustainability standards.

CEEQUAL- hållbarhetscertifiering av infrastrukturprojekt. Nu är jag precis hemkommen efter att ha genomfört en utbildning i London för att bli CEEQUAL-assessor. Inlägget ska handla om CEEQUAL men först vill jag bara beklaga mig.

BRE and CEEQUAL announced plans today to bring together two successful schemes – BREEAM and CEEQUAL – to create a single, science based sustainability standard and certification tool for civil engineering and infrastructure projects in the UK and around the world.From today, CEEQUAL will transfer its business operations to BRE Global after which CEEQUAL will then be delivered by the BREEAM certification team with continued support from the CEEQUAL scheme management team.

The focus on sustainable value and efficiency makes BREEAM and CEEQUAL certified assets attractive investments and generates sustainable environments that enhance the well-being of the people who live and work in them. This option is similar in practice to such statements made under BREEAM where letters of intent signed by a senior authority are acceptable for certain credits. It is suggested that if this option is chosen, the assessing organisation (in this case CEEQUAL) may choose to delay the ratification process until such works are completed. CEEQUAL joined the BRE Group in November 2015 and now operates as part of BREEAM - the world-leading sustainability assessment methods for buildings, masterplanning, and infrastructure.
